     Tabletop
Jukebox
Interested in a tabletop jukebox?
The large stand up jukeboxes of old are no longer produced,
it’s also at times hard to find a wall mounted jukebox which
is it’s predecessor. These days, it’s most easy to get
a hold of a tabletop jukebox. These days, technology
is just getting smaller and smaller and it’s no longer
necessary to have a huge machine just to play music, so you
now have the emergence of the tabletop jukebox.
This is a great little invention for those
who want to enjoy listening to music while still cling to
the look and feel of a jukebox lighting up the room.
If you want one of these, here are a few of the better ones
to consider:
1. Mini Bubbler Jukebox –
Crosley
This unit can be found over at
Homelement(dot com). This $349 device is a mini
replica of the 1946 Wurlitzer 1015 jukebox. This is
complete with the percolating bubles and the neon glow on
the outer edge tubing, this is a great stroll down memory
lane for some and for others, it’s a great display of
vintage music machinery.
This thing has an FM radio with analog
tuner, full range stereo speakers, an external FM antenna,
front loading CD player with LED, programmable 20 track
memory, repeat play option and a remote control to operate
it from a distance.
2. Crosley Radio Jukebox
CD
Here’s another one you can pick up at
Drugstore(dot com) for a fraction of the cost of the
previous one, $109.99. This one has a completely
different look to it, it is brown, white and red as opposed
to brown, orange, yellow and green. This is a
reproduction of a 1947 jukebox, complete with a flipping
song chart that shows the dial scale while the panel lights
give a little bit of ambience.
The handcrafted wood and veneer cabinet on
this also has a AM/FM radio and of course a CD
player.
3. Crosley CR17 iJuke Mini
Jukebox
Finally, here is one that is one of the
most popular ones out there. This one allows you to
plug your iPod into it and play the music straight from
that. These days, most people play music from iPods
rather than CD’s so this is the latest successor to the CD
jukebox.
If you want to be able to download mp3’s,
load them onto your iPod and then play that on your jukebox,
you’ll want to get ahold of one of these for $88 at
Target.
So if you want a tabletop jukebox, those
are a few of the ones you’ll want to consider. Do make
sure you look at other ones during your search for the
perfect tabletop jukebox as these are just a few of the ones
currently on the market.
